“Woods: On our very first day at Harvard, a very wise Professor quoted Aristotle: “The law is reason free from passion.” Well, no offense to Aristotle, but in my three years at Harvard I have come to find that passion is a key ingredient to the study and practice of law — and of life. It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world, remembering that first impressions are not always correct. You must always have faith in people. And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself”

Just caught this show earlier, and felt that it was a real good show! Set me thinking... and thus got the urge to blog it otherwise I'd prolly forget...
Anyway, I've always had low self esteem issues since I don't know when.........secondary school? And I think after this show, and one of Jenna Marbles youtube video "Why Girls Hate Each Other" (which came very timely), I've began to realize something:
Stop comparing yourself to others because there is only one of you.
Girls always have low self esteem because they keep comparing themselves to others. But, there is always somebody else that is going to be better than you. In terms of studies, wealth, popularity, yada yada. However, if we turn this around and compare ourselves to only ourselves, we will feel better about ourselves! Its human nature to strive to be better, not worst, and that you can't always be the best! Its important to be happy and contented with what you already have!
